The 2010 Annual General Meeting of the Edmonton Sport Council (ESC) will be held on Monday April 19th beginning at 7:00 p.m in the small auditorium of the Central Lions Recreation Centre located at 11113 113 Street.

At this time expressions of interest are being requested from those interested in serving as a Director of the Edmonton Sport Council.

Term of Office:

Currently, four Directors are elected annually for a three year term. Should a Director vacate their position for any reason, then terms of office of one and two years may be available.

However, it is the intent of the ESC Board of Directors to present to the membership a Special Resolution to revise the Bylaws. Within the proposed changes, it is being recommended that the term of office for Directors be reduced from three years to two years.

If the proposed revised Bylaws are accepted by the membership, then two of the four Directors being elected shall hold office for two years while the other two Directors shall hold office for a three year period.
