Edmonton Sport Council 2011 – 2014 Strategic Plan

ESC advocates on behalf of sport to facilitate a better sport experience in Edmonton.

Strategic Directions:

1. The ESC has a comprehensive governance framework with a knowledgeable and engaged Board of Directors.
2. The ESC will facilitate the development of an Edmonton Sport Policy.
3. The ESC will promote Canadian Sport for Life in Edmonton.

Ongoing Efforts:

1. The ESC advocates on behalf of sport and for sport development in Edmonton.
2. The ESC facilitates effective communication and relationship building among Edmonton sport organizations and other key stakeholders, including all three levels of government.
3. The ESC provides ongoing information, resources and consultation to sport stakeholders in Edmonton.
