The Edmonton Sport Council continuously seeks to link sport organizations and individuals to, or provide them with, broad not-for-profit sector educational opportunities, and sport related education and support services.

 

 

Canadian Sport for Life is a movement to increase sport’s contribution in Canadian society recognizing sport as an important part of everyone’s life by promoting each child’s healthy and logical development in a sport or physical activity. The Volunteer Police Information Check Program is a three-year pilot, funded by the Government of Alberta and jointly administered by Alberta Culture and Community Spirit and Volunteer Alberta. Under this program, eligible nonprofit/voluntary sector organizations can have police information checks costs (from police services) covered for volunteers in eligible circumstances.
