The Edmonton Sport Council is a non-profit society that advocates on
behalf of sport to facilitate a better sport experience in Edmonton. Members of
the ESC include individuals, sport and other community organizations, business,
and government who believe in, and wish to publicly support, the vision of
quality sport experiences for all Edmontonians.
This is the Non-Members
version of the e-news from the Edmonton Sport Council. This version contains
only a small sample of the information presented in the Members edition of the
e-news. To provide more effective representation, we need everyone's input and
involvement through your membership in the ESC. This will ensure that we bring

Everyone for Edmonton The
Shaw Conference Centre is inviting all non-profit organizations in Greater
Edmonton to an unprecedented community development event on August 23. Everyone
for Edmonton will be a no-charge, high-profile opportunity for registered
non-profit organizations to promote their mission, connect with donors and
recruit volunteers. For more information and registration forms, click

Canadian Amateur Sports
Network The Canadian Olympic Committee has applied for an
Amateur Sports Network broadcast license. In order to persuade the CRTC to grant
the license, they need a strong show of support from the Canadian sport

now Rental applications are being accepted for Gymnasium
rentals from Sept. 1, 2008 to Aug. 31, 2009. More

2009 Canada Summer Games - Mission Staff
Needed Team Alberta is seeking individuals to participate as
Mission Staff for the Games being held August 15-29 in Prince Edward Island.

Summer Archery Program
The Capital Region Archery Club is offering a discount on
their summer archery drop-in on Saturdays. More information is available

Volunteers Needed - Paralympic Sports Association PSA is a non
profit, volunteer run organization that offers recreation & sport programs
to persons with disabilities. Volunteers are needed for soccer, roller sledge

Canadian Athletic Hockey School - August 11-29 An

summer hockey school.
