The
Edmonton Sport Council is a non-profit society that advocates on behalf of
sport to facilitate a better sport experience in Edmonton. Members of the
ESC include individuals, sport and other community organizations, business,
and government who believe in, and wish to publicly support, the vision of
quality sport experiences for all Edmontonians.
This is the Non-Members version of the e-news
from the Edmonton Sport Council. This version contains only a small sample
of the information presented in the Members edition of the e-news. To
provide more effective representation, we need everyone's input and involvement
through your membership in the ESC. This will ensure that we bring your
concerns to the table. Please click here

Volunteers
Needed - Fall Classic Run/Walk, October 19
Special
Olympics Edmonton needs volunteers to direct traffic
and runners on intersections for the route from 8:00 A.M. until
noon. Please phone 780-448-1886 or email
to volunteer.
Volunteers
Needed - The Brick Sport Central
Sport Central's primary goal is to gather, recycle and
redistribute equipment to those kids who would otherwise be denied
the opportunity to participate. For more information, visit their
website.
With your participation,
the campaign will reach-out to candidates in all 308 ridings across
Canada with the message about the power of sport. Together, we can
ask each candidate how they propose to strengthen sport in Canada.
Simply asking the questions can make all the difference when we
work together. Join the campaign online
here or on Facebook.
Check this page
for your local candidates' contact information. Be sure to ask their
position on sport in Edmonton.
