Looking for a serious participation opportunity? Consider:
Interested in trying a new activity? Many organizations offer you the opportunity to try the activity before joining. Winter sport organizations may offer these "Try It" events during September and October, before the season begins. To browse a list of organizations offering a Try It event, go to the Activity Search page and select the "Try It Opportunities" box. You can narrow the search by also selecting your preferred activity.
Still thinking of joining a winter activity? Winter activity registration continues in to the Fall, especially for individual activities and programs beginning in January. Registering in the summer and early fall is essential for team activities. Use the Activity Search to find an organization offering your preferred activity.
If skiing or snowboarding are among your favourite winter activities, Snow Valley's Ski Swap and Sale on October 22-23 can outfit you for winter fun. Edmonton Nordic Ski Club is hosting a ski swap at 2:00pm on November 5th at Goldstick Pavilion.
